Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
Please could the traffic management team look to improve the safety of this crossing. It is virtually impossible to safely cross at busy times with cars turning left into Blackbrook Lane. Drivers focus on giving way to cars on the roundabout rather than pedestrians crossing the road. There is a limited field of view of approaching cars. Ideally a stop sign/marking is required along with further calming measures such as a raised crossing. A number of elderly residents are afraid to use this junction as there have been a number of recent near misses.
Thank you for your report, this is now being investigated. Information on our services and the timeframes we aim to respond in can be found: http://www.bromley.gov.uk/ fixservices

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.

We have experienced the same issue while walking kids to school. Cars turning left into Blackbrook Lane cannot see people crossing and pedestrians can't see the cars approaching. Very dangerous junction for pedestrians.
