Email rcvd Wed 24/11/2021 09:08 Hello there I keep reporting that the bin next to our house overflows with dog waste - it is for general waste, not dog waste and it fills up quickly as there is only one bin nearby. It's a popular route with dog walkers some of whom don't seem to have the sense to stop pilling waste on a bin that is already overflowing. Can you please empty frequently and add at least two more bins on the cut through a between Langley Way, Pickhurst Rise, the Avenue and Wickham Way - this is also a popular route for children going to school. It is unsanitary and stinks. Please let me know what the plan is to address this urgently. Thank you

In reply to the comments made on the 29th November about litter bins near this Public Right of Way overflowing with dog waste. The Council has continued to monitor this and although the frequency of visits cannot be increased at this time we have installed a large litter bin at the bus stop on The Avenue directly opposite the end of this cut-through.
It is our hope that dog walkers will now make use of this new bin and its position of the main carriageway means contractor will have easy sight of this. Neighbourhood Management will continue to monitor use of all bins serving this central footpath.
