Street NOT cleared

Reported via mobile in the Street Cleansing category anonymously at 10:44, Wed 24 November 2021

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

These were taken right after the 'cleaning machine' came up and down the street. It literally does nothing, just drives up and down in the road. The gutters are full and the pavements covered - it needs to be done manually with brooms. Once it rains it's very dangerous and slippery for all the elderly people on the street. This is a CONSTANT issue and for years I've been told when I call that the street is cleaned regularly - however, it is simply never done properly and we end up having to do it ourselves!

  • As usual, the leaves have not been cleared, the litter gets mixed in and then the rain comes and it all turns to a slippery dangerous mulch. This is an ongoing problem that the council via their contractors do not fix. Even when they come, the job is not nearly done properly.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Yet again the same issue. The cleaning machine came again this week and made no difference. This is what it looks like. Very dangerous for the old people on the street as it gets so slippery and is NEVER cleared properly.
