Unsafe roadworks with no pedestrian route
Reported via mobile in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category anonymously at 15:09, Fri 26 November 2021
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
The current roadworks on Oxhawth Crescent have closed the footpath resulting in a dangerous crossing for pedestrians, particularly those with young children and pushchairs as there is no footpath on the other side of the road immediately opposite. There are also contractors vehicles parked on the road, further blocking the route. A temporary footpath should be in place.

Thank you for your enquiry.
The Council did not agree for Openreach to close the footway at this location and an FPN has been issued to Openreach for breaching the conditions of their permit.
The footway is now open for pedestrians to use safely.
