Sent to Bromley Council 8 hours, 6 minutes later
Previous cases have been closed but still the traffic issues persist. Traffic has built up again for the last 2 hours causing increased pollution and noise in the area. Emergency services would be unable to gain access should they be needed.
Traffic flow in Bromley centre is an issue, has been for a long time and getting worse. From a planning perspective, with the amount of new apartment blocks, a single access route is not viable. Please can someone assess the road layout and traffic flow in Bromley town and come up with a solution?
Thank you for your report, this is now being investigated. Information on our services and the timeframes we aim to respond in can be found: http://www.bromley.gov.uk/ fixservices

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.
