Cracked pavement making it uneven

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Pavement has been cracking for a while but now the pavement has actually come apart with bits that come out making it uneven - my daughter & an elderly lady from up the road have tripped over loose parts.

  • The area has been inspected and there are no further defects at investigatory levels present at this time. The investigatory levels for repair in the footway are trips of 20mm or above, or if the slabs are loose and rocking severely. Paving is not replaced if just cracked. In the carriageway it is for localised immediate vertical deflections measuring 30mm deep or more in the trafficked directions. This does not mean that all defects that reach this level will be repaired, just that they may be considered for repair. The road will continue to receive regular inspections and any assessed safety defects identified on those will have remedial works raised. Further deterioration can be reported as a new report via: https://fix.bromley.gov.uk

State changed to: No further action
