Please can we have our street cleared of litter and leaves which are clogging up the drains. It hasn’t been cleaned since leaf fall.

The street hasn’t been cleaned since leaf fall which is blocking some storm drains. There is also a build up of litter left by commuters who use the road as a car park. I don’t think it’s left by the residents!!

As far as I could see at the time there had been no attempt to clear leaves from the gutters. This may be due to the fact that the road is used as a car park by non residents during weekdays making it difficult to do so. The road sweeping vehicles are a waste of time because they’re only used on weekdays. Maybe we could have it swept by hand as some others streets are? Or send the road sweeping vehicle out on a weekend when there are no parked cars.

I did provide an update when the issue was re attended. The gutters were cleared of leaves and the rubbish removed. Thankyou for doing so.
