Fixed
Damaged kerb on corner of Beamish Road and Finucane Drive
Reported via desktop in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category by Ronald Goodfellow FICE at 16:39, Fri 17 December 2021
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
On 26 November an attempt was made to carry out a repair similar to previous repairs (3) using non standard kerbs. This was stopped. A further repair has been carried out with standard kerbs. Concreting took place at temps of below 5 degrees with no protection for setting and curing and cracks appeared (see photos dated 14 December). Further repairs have been carried out on 16 December and there is still a sharp edge at end of the 1 kerb which could damage our tyres again when entering our drive. We have had to buy and fit 3 new tyres as a result of previous poor repairs with sharp edges.
