Blocked highway drain

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

The highway drain, outside (and same side) 85 kent house rd has been blocked for several years causing rain water to run down hill into the drive of no 87. ( the resident has also just piled all their front garden leaves over it.

  • The road drain (that takes the surface water off the road) has not been un-blocked. It will probably need a vacuum lorry to unclog it

  • A defect on the Surface Water drainage assets at this location has been verified and remedial works are now on our works schedule.

  • I am not sure if this is now complete because yes the cover has been replaced but the drain hole is actually 100% blocked with earth (may be its a soak away?)
