Trip hazard - junction of sunken (1 inch deep by 8 feet long) pink paving slabs and tarmac verge, Avenue Rd Penge o/s Deverill Court (opp side from Snowdown Close) Apologies if this is a work in progress (there's some white paint marks near the new tarmac rectangle) ... but if so it needs cordoning off. Sinkage may relate to nearby tall leylandii?

The pink slabs have been raised to match the Tarmac rectangle edge, so, indeed the trip hazard has gone. I suppose Having inspected the repair, I might qualify this by saying the previous Tarmac repair is a bit higher than the pink slabs, ie it ia at a gentle angle, so not quite a continuous flat surface with the slabs. I saw a wheelchair user transferring to a car here, so it is not just about the able-bodied. It would have been better to repair the Tarmac and slabs in one go. Trip hazard has gone, if not quite perfectly level. Thank you.
