Signs need to be ‘swapped round’
Reported via desktop in the Street Lighting and Road Signs category anonymously at 15:01, Tue 28 December 2021
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3201423.
The ‘school’ sign outside the Chislehurst business centre on the east bound carriageway of the A222 and near the Prince George Duke of York care home at Shepherds Green should be swapped with the ‘Elderly persons’ sign facing east (towards Sidcup) to provide “better information” to road users, since then both would be closer to what they are ‘warning’ about and there are no care homes but two schools, Farringtons and Darul Uloom to the east of the new ‘Elderly persons sign’ on the pedestrian refuge at the junction with Ashfield Lane. Combine this with a clean of the west facing ‘Elderly persons sign’ and we have a triple ‘improvement’!
