Tubbenden Lane has been closed for SGN works at the bridge end. This means that the old part of the road used by residents and pedestrians remains open and drivers are using it to avoid using another route. Last night and this morning I have witnessed 2 near misses with pedestrians. Can we not at least have some signs up with a temp speed limit and something saying there are pedestrians in the road it might avoid a fatality. Drivers are going approx 30 miles an hour down their piece of road which is usually used by pedestrians
