Reported via desktop in the Street Cleansing category anonymously at 14:16, Tuesday 4 January 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Park Road near to 46 Glenavon Lodge/73 Westbury Court and also along other parts of Park Road there are a large amount of fallen leaves on grass verges which blow onto pavements when dry, mushing and slippery when wet and killing any grass left under the leaves. Every year the same issue is reported, trees have been bare for a long while.

  • This hasn't been completely resolved as updated pictures show. Many other area's along Park Road still with the same issue. Grass that was under the leaves for many weeks, along with this same issue last year and the year before that, has really been killed off and has left 'mud' verges instead of grass now.

  • Good day, Thank you for your additional comments. Park Road has been re-attended and inspected by our contractor. Grass verges have been cleared, mechanically swept and cleared. Regards,

  • Still a section from the orginal report/photos that has only been half cleared. Picture shows the current state. Why is it so difficult for the contractors to complete this task? Why does this report have to be closed and then re-opened because the job hasnt been completed? Such a simple job should not require multiple attempts to complete.
