Dog being exercised in childrens play area

Reported via mobile in the Parks and Greenspace category anonymously at 16:12, Thursday 6 January 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Two women with five dogs between them exercising said animals off lead in the fenced off children's play area. This was occurring between 9 onwards (still in there when I left the Rec at 9.30). The dogs were running around in all directions so I don't know how these women were able to watch the constantly!

  • This information has been passed to our Parks Security contractor to monitor the area and issue Fixed Penalty Notices where an offence is observed. Enforcing against dog offences is extremely difficult, signs can deter but are often ignored by irresponsible owners. If you are able to provide us with any information regarding specific locations, breed of dog, description of owner, timings of offences or any other further information that would be most helpful.
