Street light covered by trees and vegetation
Reported via desktop in the Street Lighting and Road Signs category anonymously at 11:05, Fri 7 January 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
The street lights along the path leading to St James' RC Primary School and Jubilee Park are covered by trees and vegetation. There is therefore hardly any light given off along this access road.

Thank you for you inquiry, I have been to site and agree that the trees and shrubs are to close to the lamp post, I have raised a job to have the lamp posts clear of any obstructing vegetation.

The street light is still on all day as there are branches hanging over the light so it thinks it is still night time. Therefore it is on all day and does not give much light at at night.

Thank you for the comment, the tree has been cut back from the lamp by 1 meter, we sadly will not be able to reduce the tree further, criteria for this are set out in the Tree Management Strategy.
