  • Our Street Cleansing contractor cleared the surface debris from around this kerbside gully on 28th January. This is a shallow catchment pot that connects to the adjoining main drain and will fill more frequently.

The main drain has no obstruction and prevents flooding here. All kerbside gullies on Upper Elmers End Road were cleansed during 2021. The connection still flows during rainfall and will therefore only be cleansed when any surface flooding is witnessed.

The next routine cyclical works are planned for 2023.
