Replacement barrier defective for months

Reported via desktop in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category anonymously at 20:16, Saturday 15 January 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Replacement barrier defective for months and looks abandoned. Replacement poorly fitted or wrong parts ordered. Pedestrian crossing is well used and get crowded at busy times. The temporary barriers have reduced the operating size of the island, creating crowding. This junction sees many severe injury collisions.

This is the town centre's busiest crossing, serving the bus station (13 bus routes meet here) and supports major events in Crystal Palace Park. Remedial works required to restore the barriers.
