Moss on pavement
Reported via desktop in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category anonymously at 15:33, Mon 17 January 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3247281.
I live at 17 Grovelands Road, where the houses are set back from the normal pavement. The pavement in front of my house is not slabs, it is bitumen and there is a build up of moss growing on top. I am 80 years of age and I have to walk over this moss to get to the main pavement. I have, in the past, slid on this moss when damp. It is worse now that it is frosty. Could I please ask you to rectify this s quickly as possible as I am very wary of slipping and having an accident. I do not have a mobile or computer, a neighbour is reporting this for me. If you wish to contact me you can phone on 020 8309 1651. Kind regards, Mrs Janet Derbyshire.

A great big thank you for the speed and efficiency in removing the moss outside my gate, the 2 gentlemen were extremely helpful and polite. At the risk of being a nuisance, now that the moss has gone the pavement is very uneven and has potholes. Could I please ask you to put this on your list of repairs needed to pavements. Regards, Janet Derbyshire.
