Pavillion paintwork
Reported via Android in the Parks and Greenspace category anonymously at 09:52, Wednesday 19 January 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
Please could the sports pavilion at Hoblingwell Wood Recreation Ground be repainted? The building has been allowed to deteriorate over a number of years and this affects the amenity value of the site and impacts the local community. Regardless of the future of this derelict building, owing to its prominent location, its outward appearance has a significant impact on attitudes and behaviours in the area. Making improvements to the appearance of this building could make the site safer and better for all of the positive uses currently taking place, as well as those starting in the future, in the vicinity.

Thank you for you further comments. The identified works will be undertaken by our Property Maintenance Team and not via the Parks Service. The necessary works order has been raised with them and entered into their ongoing works schedule. While we do not have details of timeframe for these works, it will remain on our list of requested tasks to be closely monitored until and after completion.
