Overgrown vegetation
Reported via desktop in the Street Lighting and Road Signs category anonymously at 17:36, Mon 24 January 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3263972.
The light is blocked by vegetation causing the light to go on and off during the day when it is windy. The lack of light during darkness makes this dangerous corner even more dangerous particularly for pedestrians.
Asset ID: 33-O-1

These works have been added to our priority list to be completed asap. Please note the number of emergency callouts raised as result of damage caused by recent storms (Eunice & Franklin) may delay completion. Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this issue.

It is now over three months since this problem was first reported. This corner of Otford Close does not get any less dangerous for pedestrians. What a pity that Bromley's contractors did not make use of the cherry picker used to remove the hanging branch just a few metres away from this lampost a few weeks ago.

Litter in Otford Close/Barfield Road left by network rail engineers this weekend. Completely disgusting and unnecessary. Reported to Network Rail too. There was more litter than in my photo. Please can the litter outside of the railway please be cleared. Many thanks. Reference number with network rail is 220515-000182.

Today, after 4.5 months and being prioritised twice, the task has been completed. Disappointingly the workers chose to deposit the cuttings behind the trees instead of taking them away.
