Extensive damage to paving stones caused by contractor laying cable duct

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

The contractor's excavator has caused extensive damage to the paving stones- at least 10 or 12 smashed. The pavement is safe at present but action needs to be taken to ensure the contractor replaces the smashed stones

  • Thank you for your report. Our street works inspector has been to site and advised the works are currently still in progress. When these works are complete he will inspect and issue a defect notice if anything needs further rectification from the utility.
