Despite the report, nothing has been done. There’s still a broken tree although somebody (a neighbour) has removed the broken bit to clear the pavement but there is still half a tree that needs to be replaced.

This isn’t fixed. Literally nothing has happened since initially reported. Why do you keep changing it to ‘Fixed’?

I’m sorry but cutting about an inch off the top of the remaining trunk to level it off doesn’t constitute a fix. There is still about 3ft of tree trunk sticking out of the ground. Why is this so hard? You’ve managed to replace trees in other roads so why such a battle with this one?

Thank you for contacting us. The tree has been made safe and the stump cut off ready to be ground out in preparation for a new tree next planting season. ( stumps are cut off at this height so people can see them and not trip up.) The tree stump will be ground within three months. Thank you
Thank you
