Tree planting in empty tree pits
Reported via mobile in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category anonymously at 09:32, Sat 12 March 2022
Sent to Bromley Council 14 hours, 37 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 3381903.
There are two empty tree pits halfway down Kingsdale Rd, on both sides of the road, roughly opposite no. 17. (There are more old ones but they have been filled with concrete.) In line with Bromley Council's drive to plant more trees in the borough, could new trees be put in one or both of these (disused but still open) tree pits?

Can I ask what the progress is, if any, in getting a contractor to plant a new tree or trees in any of the empty pits on Kingsdale Road? It has been a while since the request, and if it takes much longer the opportunity for a new sapling to root itself and grow during the Spring and Summer might be missed. Thank you.
