This whole section of the road needs resurfacing!! Do not attempt to patch it as it will cause further issues for those experiencing the traffic vibrations and new issues for those who don’t. In my experience, unless a large portion is corrected all at once with the lease amount of tarmacked seams all you’re going to do is allow for the road to deteriorate a few months down the line from vehicles and weathering. This needs between 10cm – 15cm of the surface layer to be removed, levelled and resurfaced. Because this road has so much through traffic connecting Elmers end to Penge (Refuse centre, school) and the width of the road it should be something that's checked every so often (which the neighbours are doing and reporting)
The damage to the road is also sloped between the two sides of the payment and is visibly obvious that the deterioration shows this. This road also needs a speed limit of 20mph, especially for the local buses which for some reason (when not stopping) race down this road and brake sharply before the bend.
Please spend some time rectifying years of patching rather than adding more to it. We can reduce this happening over time if it's approached correctly. Thank you
