Road pot holes and cracks causing heavy house vibrations
Reported via desktop in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category anonymously at 10:52, Wed 13 April 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3456754.
The road surface in front of my house has a lot of damages and is not even. When vehicles are speeding and the heavy vehicles travel on those pot holes etc. it causes heavy vibration in my house. I have reported this a few times and everytime a token repair has been carried out that would last for a couple of months at the most. This vibration issue is getting worse as nothing is being done to repair the road. My house is at the end of a terrace and therefore worse affected by the vibrations I believe. Cracks have already appeared in walls and have worsened over tye last few years due to the vibrations. I am concerned that these vibrations will cause structural damages to my property. I am a shift worker who works day and night shifts and resting is absolutely critical. I wake up every time a vehicle drives over a pot hole causing vibrations and it is affecting my wellbeing. There are damages to the road surfaces from about 95 Dunkery road to about 123 Dunkery road. My property 107 Dunkery road is heavily affected by these defects. I have spoken to my neighbours who also are suffereing from the same issues.
Please repair the series of cracks infront of 107 Dunkery road.
There are previous enquiries made regarding these cracks. Enquiry numbers 2090475, 2747428, 3184845 and 3478477 Dunkery Road
