The hedges on the verges of Wickham Way need cutting.

Reported via desktop in the Public Trees category anonymously at 09:39, Sunday 24 April 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

The hedges need their height reducing and cutting particularly on the road side as it is difficult for drivers leaving and entering their drives to see cyclists, other cars, pedestrians and runners who choose to run on the road rather than the pavements.

  • The hedges between numbers 116 and 128 have not been cut. The height needs reducing and the shrubs are overhanging the kerb making it difficult for car drivers to park close to the kerb. This is a busy, fast road so clear visibility is essential when leaving our drives.

  • I am told by the occupants of number 132 that the hedge outside their house has been trimmed but this is not what I requested. I am at number 124 and it is the hedges between numbers 116 and 128 that need trimming to reduce the height and the overhang onto the road. As a result of the overhang drivers do not park close to the kerb and this, together with the height of the hedges , restricts my view of oncoming traffic when leaving my drive.
