The Mess left behind by Lightopia and other events

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3495555.
To all that this concerns, I have been a loyal Crystal Palace resident since 1993 and I am extremely concerned about the future management of our great park that has been given over to the Trust recently
I am in favour of increasing access and using the park for music and entertainment events providing they are of a suitable scale and dont impact too much on the amenity for locals
The Lightopia event, the music in the bowl and the Wireless Festival have left the park severely impacted and four months after the last event it is still recovering and this just doesnt feel like a way forward for the future care of this great resource
Parts of the park are inaccessible while grass seed is taking time to germinate
The orange fencing is very unsightly and often useless as it doesnt get maintained regularly and has fallen down in places
(The grass seed doesnt seem to be being watered and in this dry spring will struggle to germinate)
Why cant more of the tarmacked areas be used for the larger events? In this way the grass areas would be left for the pleasure of regular park users
On another note the paths in the lower part of the park are impassable in wet weather if you are trying to run round the park - this "all weather" surface put sometime ago is a failure and the suppliers should be made to update it
Thanks for your attention best wishes Simon Harrison
