Over running traffic lights

Reported via desktop in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category anonymously at 10:51, Monday 2 May 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

The temporary traffic lights are still in place, no work has taken place since last Wednesday , the roadworks are purely there to park the contractors vehicles despite plenty of space to park on the numerous grass verges, I understand the need for the work however when the work is finished they should clear away and not leave the road with traffic control for no good reason

  • Thank you for your enquiry.

Thames Water's works are due to be completed by Sunday 08/05/2022.

The temporary signals are required for safety zones for operatives, plant, spoil and works vehicles to be parked. Parking on the verges is not permitted.

Thames Water have agreed to manually operate the signals during peak times.
