Dogs Poo-land in Jubilee Park must be addressed urgently

Reported via mobile in the Parks and Greenspace category anonymously at 09:13, Wednesday 4 May 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

An urgent action by the Bromley Council is required to stop fast growing number of incidents where dog owners do not bother to clean up after their dogs or leave doggy bags on the path, in the bushes or even hanging on the tree branches as a 'present' for everyone to see!(( How horrible and inconsiderate is that?! There should be notice boards reminding people of their responsibilities as dog owners, including fines for non-compliance. I can't see a single clear notice in Jubilee park at all. This really requires council's attention. I often see owners walking far away from their dogs while those are doing their business. Owning and walking a dog is not only a pleasure, but also a responsibility.

  • Poo-land continues un Jubilee Park every morning! Piles of dogs' sh*t on the pathways and on the side of the walkways. This is disgusting! Contractor that cleans the bins said he would only do the dog bins but no action on checking and clearing the path! What is the council paid for? Where is enforcement and patrol? Dog owners walk far away from their dogs in groups, chatting away, and do not clean after their dogs simply because that 'do not notice' when their pet does their business in the park. Urgent action needed!

  • This is the contractor's van visiting jubilee park to clear the bins. That never clean the paths of debris/rubbish or dogs poo. Are they not having this as part of their responsibilities? I usually see them in the parking lot sitting in their van relaxed, eating or smoking.
