  • Please refer to 3149138 which I re-opened yesterday and I have again provided details and images of the hole and the injury sustained by my husband yesterday. Shocking that my re-opening of call and communication has not even been acknowledge, hence my adding reminder to the newly opened issue. For quick reference I have uploaded images to this call as well.

  • Quite amazing the one line response provided by BC "Appropriate action has been taken to resolve the issue" .No acknowledgement that BC were advised that the previous fixes was not a long term fixes and that this has been on going for years, and until you fully excavate, investigate and resolve this issue will continue to reoccur. In addtion not once have you apologised or asked how my husband is doing?.

  • We are sorry to hear of your husband’s incident and hope he doing well. While Bromley Council do look to provide additional information where appropriate in responding to FixMyStreet reports, to provide a quick and efficient service and timely updates, responses such as the one above are driven by our system workflows. The area in question, as with all publicly maintained highways is subject to routine safety inspections and we continue to monitor during those. We believe we have identified the cause of the previous issues here and taken steps to prevent this occurring again, but where issues do present or reoccur we would ask that they are reported to us as new reports to allow for a prompt assessment and response.
