Please advise when watering will take place and how often this will occur. Who will monitor this and what sanctions exist if contractor fails to adhere to requirements.

Thank you for the enquiry, all the trees planted in winter 21/22 will receive 50 litres of water per week over a 4 month period, commencing 16/05/22. The first week of watering, will see the installation of QR code stickers, which will be used by the contractor to log attendance and watering. This data will be used by the council as the primary source of monitoring supplemented also by officer inspections. Within the terms of the contract, should the contractor fail to meet there obligations, corrective action will be undertaken at the contractors expense.
