Objection to a Jubilee Street Party on the 5th June
Reported via desktop in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category anonymously at 16:13, Mon 16 May 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3529622.
I have just received a "flyer" through the door (see attached photo) to advertise a street party on Beadon Road BR2 9AS. There has been zero consultation for this party and the residents that will be impacted by the party and closure of the part of the road where the party will be held haven't been informed or asked for approval. The first this has come to light it the attached flyer. There are approx 80 houses on Beadon Road and only approx 6 will be impacted. Those organising the party don't live on the part of the road where the party has been organised. They live almost a quarter of a mile further up the road. If there was to be a party and road closure the impacted residents should be informed and asked for approval. I would also expect Bromley Council to ensure residents are in agreement for these parties and road closures.

Who is to dictate the use of the street? You've been able to use it for your car (probably) every other day of however many of the 70 years since the Queen came to the throne tahy you've lived there and you can't tolerate other residents using it for a different legitimate purpose for ONE DAY?
