One of the exits from the school where the students enter/leave exits directly onto CHISLEHURST ROAD. The exit has a lot of foliage and a thin pavement and so the students exit onto the road with little warning to road users. I believe this is a danger to the students and road users that could be fixed by a zebra crossing or a set of traffic lights.

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.
