Newly planted tree has died

Reported via desktop in the Public Trees category anonymously at 11:13, Monday 23 May 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

This young tree was planted recently with a series of other new trees on our road but, unfortunately there are no signs of growth at all on this tree and it appears to have died. Can it be removed and replaced with a healthy tree please?

  • Thank you for the enquiry, the tree mentioned does have life in the stem and branches, but sadly the tree has not had the leaf bloom yet, I will return in 3 weeks to check the vitality of the tree. If there are no leaves present, I think I’ll remove the tree and replace it on the next phase of planting.

State changed to: No further action
