Empty tree square
Reported via desktop in the Public Trees category anonymously at 18:41, Mon 23 May 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3545960.
There is an empty tree planting square which I reported last year at the same time as one down on the other side of North Street. You have planted a beautiful little tree in the other vacant tree spot, thank you, and put a post in the space at the corner beside West Street but never came back to put a tree in. I'd be most grateful if you'd plant one there. Grateful thanks.

I'm wondering if whoever wrote this reply was looking at the wrong tree square as the reply makes no sense. There is no tree in the square I referred to so it could not have been inspected. The tree square on North Street, closest to the corner of West Street, has no tree in it, only a single support post but no tree at all, so the problem is not resolved. I'd be very grateful if someone would plant a tree in that square.

Thank you for contacting us. We will not be replacing a tree in that location but will of course be planting trees to compensate for the loss of this one. Some locations over time have become unsuitable because of under ground works or water run off and flooding etc. if you know of another suitable spot please let us know and we will add the location to our database if it hasn't already been noted. Thank you for the intertest you have shown.
