Overgrown tree on allotments
Reported via mobile in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 09:30, Wed 25 May 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3549329.
This tree on the allotments has become incredibly overgrown over the last 5 years, and has received no maintenance. Given the incredibly large size of branches and the close proximity to the houses, we are concerned about the risk to property if it were to fall, and the roots cause damage.

Thank you for your update. All of the trees in the allotment have been inspected by a qualified Tree Officer. The tree in question has been pruned to remove all dead/dangerous branches from the crown. That is all the work that is required from a health and safety perspective at this time. We will continue to monitor the condition of the trees as part of our 3-yearly inspection cycle.
