Sinking section of road surface following road works causing disturbance to nearby homes

Earlier this year Thames Water replaced water mains along Hayes Lane and dug up various sections of the road in the process. One section at the junction with Romanhurst Gardens and Brabourne Rise, on the southbound side of the road, runs across the width of the carriageway. It was infilled and tarmacked over flush with the road surface, with several new metal access covers installed. The infill now appears to be sinking and there is a depression in the tarmac around one of the metal access/drain covers. This is causing a problem when large vehicles such as buses or lorries drive over it, making them ‘bounce’ up and down, making a loud, banging noise, and disturbing those who live nearby.
Recently we have started to notice that it is also causing vibrations which can be felt inside nearby homes, when a particularly large/heavy vehicle goes past. Please can this be investigated and remedied to reduce the noise and eliminate the vibration? The concern is that if it sinks any further, the problem is going to get worse, and I would be concerned about the vibration causing damage to nearby properties including my own. To confirm there wasn’t an issue prior to Thames Water undertaking their works and indeed it seemed fine for the first 6 weeks or so after they were completed when the surface was flat. The problem seems to only have arisen as the section has sunk down/settled and a difference in road surface levels has been created.

Resident has called to advise Thames Water is currently present in the area but are not working on the section in the report. Please can this be looked into as works can be done at the same time.
