Hi there, hope you are well? I am talking on behalf of number 20, 18 and 16 Lulworth road Outside number 20 we had works under the pavement due to a powercut back in april which we were happy that this was being investigated so it doesn't happen as often. We allowed access to our meter inside the house as the engineers wanted to see this also, we had a powercut over 2 days (1st day for almost 4 hours and 2nd day for around 2 hours). This of course was not helpful for food in the fridge/freezer, making food, unable to work from home etc. We can oversee this as it was for the good of future powercuts but to our disappointment, once the slabs were laid down again there are so many issues. We've noticed, stained bricks ON our driveway which we've tried to scrub off, scratched bricks on driveway, the ending of the driveway is now wonky as bricks have not been pushed back to where they were and the gap between the driveway bricks and pavement slabs now looks awful. This was fine before but as the workmen needed to work on it, it caused cracking which they done re-done - to a very poor standard. There are also CRACKED slabs that have been laid down when we were told that cracked slabs would NOT be laid down. You can see from the images that gaps have not been filled on the pavement, there are SEVERAL which are raised and dangerous, this road has many children cycling and scootering down towards the park and they have already fallen or caused near misses. The pavement looks a lot worse than it did before and is more dangerous than before. Number 18 have agreed and are elderly who mentioned they have almost tripped on the new slabs - they are also disappointed that their water meter has been cemented in, meaning they are unable

Hi team, i understand i mentioned a lot on here on behalf of 3 houses on this road. Surely this cannot be closed just like this. i would perhaps advise someone to come down and have a look as potentially the images are not truly reflecting. There is still a danger as some slabs are over an inch above others with plenty children and elderly in this area - it's a risk honestly. Do let us know.
