Cracked pavement, tiles

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 12:47, Tuesday 31 May 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

(sorry - continued report complaint). Outside 18, they are elderly and have asked me to complain about their water meter cover being cemented in, meaning they no longer can read meter. They would like this resolved. 16 and 18 are also complaining about cracked slabs leading to their shared driveway - regularly the grass cutter tractor will come but as the slabs are already cracked and uneven it does make it worse, these need to be replaced as they are hazardous to the many elderly on our street & all the children making their way to the park down the road.People often have to cross the road & go down the other side to avoid this,it is not good! Please let us know what can be done about all these uneven, raised & cracked slabs plus the shoddy weak cement job carried out, outside number 20.A stronger cement needs to be used and re-done as the driveway bricks are looser and uneven. i have more images of when the works were carried out and all the mess it caused which we had to sort ourselves - should you wish to see them. Please let me know & thank you for your help

  • Hi team, i understand i mentioned a lot on here on behalf of 3 houses on this road. Surely this cannot be closed just like this. i would perhaps advise someone to come down and have a look as potentially the images are not truly reflecting. There is still a danger as some slabs are over an inch above others with plenty children and elderly in this area - it's a risk honestly. Do let us know.
