Barriers still missing

Reported via desktop in the Public Right of Way footpath category anonymously at 07:43, Friday 3 June 2022

Sent to Bromley Council 1 hour, 5 minutes later

This problem has been reported many times. There are wooden barriers missing going up steps to Hillingdale properties, and alongside the verge. A lot of the barriers are rotten and some are missing. The verges are also overgrown making the street look unkempt. These missing handrails are a safety risk especially on the steps, with them either missing or having nails/screws sticking out.

  • These are still broken. I have reported this issue a number of times previously and nothing has been done. I have two children and they cannot hold onto the rail due them being broken or due to the nails. It is not safe but they need to hold onto something to walk up to our house safely as well!
