Debris from JDT works on residents cars and driveways

Reported via desktop in the Utility Works and Temporary Traffic Lights category anonymously at 09:36, Tuesday 14 June 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

The contractors from JDT carrying out the works yesterday in Kechill Gardens threw debris all over people's driveways and also some cars too. Although they used an old rag to cover the cars (and scraped the paint on removing) it did not stop the debris flying on to cars. In addition, there is rocks, concrete and gravel all down the road on the pavements and in the roadway too. They are NOT tidy workforce.

  • Why has this been changed to No Further Action? I want the road, pavements and driveways cleared of debris??

  • As you will see from the photo, this is an example of some of the rubbish left by JDT. You only have to walk along Kechill Gardens and there are used drinks bottles, part of the gas main (as in the photo) all along it. This particular photo is outside 27E Kechill Gardens. Not sure they are taking your request seriously.....

  • The order for this has been raised with the contractor and remains outstanding within their planned schedule of works. We will continue to monitor this.
