Grass needs cutting at Grassmead park
Reported via mobile in the Grass needs cutting category anonymously at 21:38, Wednesday 15 June 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
The last cut of the grass, only half has been done. It looks ridiculous and is a joke to walk round now with my dog,as there could be dog poo left in the long grass. I was told by someone in the park ,that is left like this for wildlife. There is enough area for wildlife around the edges and in the wooded parks. So please cut all the grass.

Thank you for your comment.
There are various trials of naturalised grassed areas within parks across the borough and the area in Grassmeade Recreational Ground is a part of the new trial areas within Parks to boost Bio-diversity within the Borough.
These will be cut down towards the end of the year and will be reviewed at the end of the year.
