Insufficient street and road cleaning in Shawfield Park

Reported via desktop in the Street Cleansing and Litter category anonymously at 18:48, Saturday 18 June 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Lack of sufficient road and pavement cleaning in Shawfield Park is a constant problem. The road-cleaning vehicle ends up more often than not just driving down the centre of the road, no doubt due to the all-day parking so consideration needs to be given to changed times for cleaning. Also, with local shops nearby etc, there is frequently litter in the road and on the pavement so fortnightly cleaning is insufficient. Residents frequently sweep up themselves. Also, consideration should be given to manual sweeping instead of machine-sweeping. This was done some time ago and was excellent.
