  • It is outside number 5 Elm Grove. The protector for the water meter and mains cannot be removed due to new base under paving stones. Additionally a number of paving slabs have broken

  • Thank you for your update, The issue of the missing boundary box has been passed to our Major Works Team who recently completed works in the area. I have also requested for the Major Works Team to contact the report originator directly to update and resolve.

In regards to the cracked/ damaged paving a repair has not been raised at the time of inspection as the area reported does not meet the London Borough Bromley investigatory levels for repair.

The investigatory levels for repair in the footway are trips of 20mm or above, or if the slabs are loose and rocking severely. Paving is not replaced if just cracked. In the Carriageway it is for localised immediate vertical deflections measuring 30mm deep or more in the trafficked directions. This does not mean that all defects that reach this level will be repaired, just that they may be considered for repair.
