Street tree outside number 47 Beaumont Road

Reported via mobile in the Tree Vandalised category anonymously at 18:20, Wednesday 22 June 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

The bark at the base of the tree has been damaged and partially removed. Apparent since the grass verges were cut recently as reported on another tree further up the road. Perhaps the contractor needs to be shown and spoken to so that no more trees are damaged in this way.

  • Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The issue has been reported to the grass cutting team, so that they can train/educate the cutting crew so hopefully this will not happen again in future. The tree has been inspected and no further action is required at this time but the tree will be monitored for changes in health. The morphology of the species for Cherry Plum's is that they are very resilient/tough street trees.
