  • Good morning. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and providing images to support your concerns. A weed spray application is applied three times a year to all roads and housing footpaths within the Bromley borough. The first weed spray commenced on the 25th of April 2022 and was completed on the 30th May 2022. Lovelace Avenue was sprayed on 16.05.2022 and Thorn Close was sprayed on 18.05.2022 by our service provider. The second weed spray application is due to commence on Monday 4th July. Tree pits will not be sprayed if there is evidence of microhabitats or if a tree is not of a certain age or size. The Environmental manager for this area has been instructed to visit both roads today and report back. From the images you have provided I can see that this is new growth. However, arrangements will be made to deploy a manual crew to scrape and pull weeds in the coming days.
