Parked Cars
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction to Highway category anonymously at 14:12, Thu 23 June 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3618251.
Please can you consider parking restrictions between 0840-0900 around this section of road. Cars often park on the school side of the road which reduces traffic to a single lane. Restrictions should be in place during school drop off/pick up hours.

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.State changed to: Internal referral

Thank you for your report.
The location you mention is like many others in the Borough. If no waiting restrictions were to be introduced it would have a knock on effect with the vehicles being displaced to the nearest non-restricted location, resulting in the same occurrence.
