FTR Thu 26 May: Fly-Tipping at GSG Recycling Site
Reported via desktop in the Flytip category by Friends of Green Street Green Common at 10:04, Sun 26 June 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3623632.
For the record (FTR), fly-tipping at the Green street Green Recycling Site in Pinewood Drive is a regular occurrence. Grateful to Veolia for clearing fly-tipped rubbish daily, and in this case it has already been cleared, but this working practice is not solving the problem. Consistent and significantly more prominent wfly-tipping warning signs would be a start, along with other behaviour change initiatives. Suggest Bromley Council acknowledges the scale of the problem in our borough and acts accordingly, rather than playing party politics and saying it's not as bad as other boroughs. Green Street Green residents deserve batter. Thanks in anticipation.
