Unnecessary temporary traffic lights

Reported via desktop in the Utility Works and Temporary Traffic Lights category anonymously at 08:50, Monday 27 June 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

No work being carried out all day Saturday 25th or Sunday 26th June. No workmen on sight all weekend.

Massive disruption and traffic queuing to the brow of the hill back towards Orpington station, and as far back as Place Farm Avenue along Crofton Lane at 7.18am Monday 27th June.

Temporary traffic lights should not be in place when no work is occurring. It causes undue congestion and issues for residents who then cannot access their driveways because of the queuing traffic. Permits should only be given for time for the work to take place, not for the time around it.
