Noise caused by road sweeper truck
Reported via mobile in the Street Cleansing and Litter category anonymously at 22:26, Tuesday 26 July 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
Why is a road sweeper truck (which is loud and disturbing especially when people are in bed and have their windows and doors open) going up and down cleaning the curbs nearly every day between 10/11pm for the past month?

Again tonight the road sweeper drove up my road and turned around in my blocks driveway at 10.15pm at night which is too late and very noisy, why has this still not been resolved after nearly a month?

We would like to apologise for the noise from the large mechanical sweeper that inconvenienced during the night. This road is on the night sweepers schedule for a daily attendance. Management has spoken to the night driver and instructed that this road is now swept on a weekly basis. The local manager will monitor cleansing standards over the next few weeks and review the situation. This report will now be closed.
